Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe about differences of self-regulated learning between college students who have mastery goal orientation and performance goal orientation . Self-regulated learning as the process we use to activate and sustain our thoughts , behaviors, and emotions in order to reach our goals, usually use in academic. Mastery goal is a personal intention to improve abilities and learn, no matter how performance suffers. Performance goal is a personal intention to seem competent or perform well in the eyes of others. This non- experimental research, using the quantitative approach and using the questionnaire of subjects from 260 college student. This research is analyzed by using non- parametric test Mann Whitney. The result, Z=-10 .7, p=0.000<0.05, means that there is a different between college students who have mastery goal orientation and performance goal orientation.
