Abstract
One kind of reasons why young man adults use prostitution is physical and psychological separation which it means they have a bad parental attachment (“Penyebab Seseorang Merasa Kesepian Dalam Hidup”, 2013). In fact, parental attachment related to self concept like in Helmi’s research (1999) which shows that secure attachment has high contribution in positive self concept. Person who has a negative self concept will get many difficult to accomplish this task development (“Konsep Diri Positif dan Konsep Diri Negatif, 2012). But there isn’t research about customers of prostitution so this research is reveal an illustration of parental attachment and self concept young man adults as prostitution’s customer. This research used in-depth interview with three subjects man aged 18-22 years who still become prostitution’s customer. From this research we found that three subjects have insecure parental attachment from one or both their parents. The other side, self concept of two subjects have negative self concept as prostitution’s customer.
