Abstract
Research is looking more closely at Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) as a common causes of Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Individuals who experience a serious MVA are at increased risk for psychological problems, particularly PTSD. Trauma creates a los of faith that there is any safety, predictability, or no meaning in the world. The trauma then takes on a life of it’s own and, through it’s continue affects, haunts the survivor and prevents. In this research review the literature on PTSD among MVA survivors with particular attention to available intruments to screen for and assess symptomatology of the disoder. The method use in this research is qualitative methods with questionnaire to screening PTSD symptoms before the interview. The criteria of subject in this research is male teenagers between 11-24 years with MVA experience that causes one victim exclude survivor. The study took place in the span of ten months, beginning in January 2014 until October 2014 The results showed that all three subjects generally experiencing symptoms PTSD. Phobic symptoms can persist for months and mood distrubance may augment the impact of pain on daily living.
