Abstract
"Patients who have diagnosed as facing a terminal illness tend to experience physical, social, and psychological disequilibrium. Thus, they need help from professionals such as:“doctors, nurses, and psychologists. Psychologists can help to rehabilitate the psychologial disequilibrium that is experienced by the terminally ill patients. Psychologists need to understand how the patients attitudes and perceptions about death. Psychologists needs to have positive attitude toward death so that they can give an effective help to the terminally ill patients. This research was aimed to measure how the psychologist’s attitudes toward death. This research using descriptive method through quantitative analysis. Results of this research indicate that most ofthe psychologists have positive attitude toward death, too indicate that psychologist’s attitudes toward death haven’t influenced by age and religion but have influenced by respondents’s different sex. Psychologists have positive attitude toward death could meant that most of psychologists didn’t to be afraid when thinking about death, didn’t avoid discussion on death, and didn’t feeling anxious when their death causes others to feel sad. "
