Abstract
"This research is trying to answer questions of what kind of psychological impact in a marriage life being experienced by a woman who experienced premarital sexual. The triangular love theory of Stenberg has been used as the main theory on this research. According to this theory, loves becomes the reason for a young woman to get involved in premarital sexual relationships. The theory of Levinson is utilized to explore the problems in the family and Rapoport concep was used to explore some problems of family conflict. Interview and observation were the main methods being utilized in this research. The process of data collection was conducted between June and July 2000, and the reliability of the answers were rechecked by closed questionnaires which were given one month following the interview. Subjects were consisted of four married women of 20 to 34 years of age and they were involved in premarital sex’ual experienced at the age of 17 to 27. The result indicates that premarital sexual is potentially creating conflict in the family. All of the subject did not have any conflict that was related to virginity; however, premarital sexual became the precipitating factor of jealousy, misunderstanding between couples, conflicts over childcare, and legal matter."
