Abstract
Breast cancer is one of the chronic diseases that can lead to a crisis in life of women, especially for those who went through mastectomy. The presence of spirituality and meaning of life are considered to alleviate the negative effects and provide new perspectives and goals to breast cancer patients. This study aims to describe the role of spirituality in finding meaning of life in women with breast cancer post mastectomy. The method used in this research was qualitative study. In-depth interview was conducted towards three women with breast cancer post mastectomy in the age of 40 to 65. This study lasted for five months, started from February 2015 to June 2015. The result shows that there are positive influences of spirituality in many aspects of life in women with breast cancer. Generally, the role of spirituality are strongly felt by three subjects and its influences in the process of finding meaning of life
