Abstract
Schizophrenia can be suffered a person who has disorder and her/his family. Most of adolescences who have schizphrenic mother have problem to express their anger. Their external and internal anger are usually expressed in destructive ways. The aim of this research is to find effectiveness of art therapy as a mean to express anger for adolescences who have schizophrenic mothers. Research was conducted on August 2008 until April 2009 using qualitative method, in which in depth interview, observation and psychological battery tests are held. This research involves 4 girls, aged 12-17, who have schizophrenic mothers. The reseach shows that art therapy is effective as a mean to express anger for adolescences who have a schizophrenic mother. The effectiveness of this therapy is shown through their product and the different result between pre-test and post-test which indicates positive change in term of the way they express their anger.
