Abstract
Cancer has become a significant medical epidemic that has influence thousands of people worldwide. The number of cancer patients has increase worldwide. Leukemia is a type of cancer that mostly experience by young people. The disease and treatment would give patients with leukemia great pain, financial burden, and time consuming. The long procedures and painful experiences make these young people vulnerable physically, emotionally, as well as their anxiety level. One of the solutions to reduce the anxiety is art therapy. A data research was performed using 4 patients. Two out of the 4 was given art therapy intervention in drawing. The result shows that art therapy was able to assist or lower the anxiety level for the leukemia patients.
