Abstract
This research wants to find out the effectivenes of integrated music therapy and speech therapy for mild mentally retarded with phonological disorder, if it is being compared with speech therapy or music therapy as a single therapy. The design of this research is experimental method. The process of collecting and analyzing data about phonological disorder in participant, were using observation and interview method. Experimental method were separated into three stage: pre-test stage, intervention stage and post-test stage. Participant of this research also being separated into three groups. Each group contains one middle childhood participant and one adolescence participant. The first group experience only speech therapy for twelve session. The second group experience only music therapy for twelve session. The third group experience integrated speech and music therapy for twelve session. Data analysis shown that integrated speech therapy and music therapy is more effective than music therapy or speech therapy as a single therapy.
