Abstract

Network Marketing industry were an industry which attract many people. There’s a number people who failed and also became success in this industry. Their successful assumed was correlated with personality and work performance. This research is meant to find out the description of successful distributor’s personality and work performance in Network Marketing industry and find out the correlation between personality and work performance with distributor achievement. Personality is a description of characteristic within act, thought, and feeling among any individuals, so that one is different with other. Work performance is one’s acts to obtain certain goals. Researcher focused on Big Five Personality Theory which is made by Costa and McCrae and common work performance theories. This research used Big Five personality test developed by department of research dan measurement from Faculty of Psychology, Tarumanagara University and work performance test based on workbook leadership 101 program from Core System. Statistic analysis were using statistic descriptive with SPSS program ver 15.00. Intervention program as a part of this research were about personality development for work performance improvement. Research shows that there is some aspec of personality trait in Big Five Personality and work performance affect distributor achievement.
