Abstract
Creativity is not resulted only by genetic factor but also affected by environment. School is one of environment aspects that contribute to creativity development. Most of people having education in formal way that usually manifested in the school. One of important elements affecting in creativity development is teaching method. Each school is having it's uniqness in form of teaching the students and of course can affect creativity development uniquely. This figured the researcher to conduct a research that looking for creativity differences among 5th graders primary school student between St. Nicholas and Pelangi Kasih school. The researcher use 5th graders student as subjects because these students is lying in the stage of creativity recovery. The concept of creativity in this research is creative product that reflects in fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration in the way of thinking. The instrument for measuring creativity in this study is creative writing that examined based on adaptation towards Munandar's creative wrting scoring scheme. The result than analyzed by independent sample t-test and showed t (36)= 1.107, p greater than 0.05, therefore null hypothesis accepted, there is no significanoe creativity difference between the 5th graders at St. Nicholas and Pelangi Kasih School.
