Abstract
The purpose of this research is to see the influence of career planning intervention for helping students to design career planning in their future and parental involvement, so that student can confidently pick the intended subject according to their career planning. In this research, there are two dependent variables. First is career planning variable and the second is parental involvement variable. Career planning is a process which is through by the related teenager with the selection of a career in the future according start from planning field of work or career that will be focusing in the future until conducting the major which is appropriate with their career plan. Parental involvement is parents role in helping and supporting student to make career planning in the future by giving an advices and useful information for their children, but not act as decision maker, so that in the future student will be able to choose the major that is fit with their career planning. Numbers of sample in this research are 8 persons and using purposive sampling technique for intake the data. This research is a quasiexperiment using a data analysis method with quantitative and qualitative approach. The conclusions of the research results indicate that there is no influence of educational groups of career development on career planning and parental involvement on research subject. Nevertheless, it was found that there are dynamics variations in career development component and parental involvement component of career development among the subjects in Experiment Group.
