Abstract
lnfidelity gives enormous impact to women physicaily as weil as mentaliy. Most infidelity causes divorce. lf infidelity itself causes tremendous impacts, the divorce as the consequence of infidelity delivers a great impact to the victims. The repeatediy blows can cause women comprehend life unpleasantly and lose their meaning of life. Meaning of life is someone's direction in life thereupon lies the purpose of one's life. Anyone who has lost the meaning of her life will lose her spirit in life. ln spite of the suffering she had been through, she was still able to find her meaning of life. Therefore the question of this research is “How do these women's describe their meaning of life after they have been through divorce as a result of their spouse's infidelity?”. This research was conducted to four women as the subjects. In order to obtain an overall and comprehensive description, a qualitative method with in-depth interviews had been executed from the period of March 2006 to May 2006. The final outcome of this research generated that divorce is the aftermath of infidelity. Later on, the divorced women went through meaningless life's comprehension. The meaning of their lives are obtained after the subjects found self-insights of their conditions. After discovering their meaning of life, subjects conducted various directed activities and made commitments. After they had reached their determined goals of life, they experienced happiness as the end result.
