Abstract

Teacher’s role is really important in overall teaching and learning process in class. Teaching plan should be designed effectively. This research tested effectiveness of design teaching program training use quasi experiment. Participant in this research are two groups, which are experiment group and control group. Intervention was done by giving planning of apprenticeship program by social constructivist approach. Intervention will be done 5 times in a week in accordance with study schedule from the students. Data collecting from the teacher is done by observing the teacher performance and observation in class. Data is processed using Wilcoxon and the assessment from teachers. Research result is showing intervention of study program planning is effectively increasing teacher performance, teaching process and study program planning. Based on process theory, teaching which optimally prepared will influence student study result in class, so this intervention will also influence student study result. Data is processed using paired simple T-test. The intervention result is showing a slight increase in student study result mean after intervention.
