Abstract
According to Erik Erikson, in the 8th stage, the person will experience ego integrity versus despair. The reserach objective is to find the comparison between ego integrity and despair in late adulthood that has higher and lower religiosity in experiential area. This research is performed in quantitative and qualitative method by using questionaire and interview. The questionaire is distributed to 42 subjects and after processing the data using SPSS, the researcher choose 4 subjects to be interviewed. The result of this research is for the late adulthood person who has higher experiential, he/she can have either high in ego integrity or high in depair. Otherwise, when a late adulthood person has lower experiential, he/she tend to have higher despair. In this care, ego integrity is influenced not only by experiential but also by another things, such as aplication skill and education background.
