Abstract
The aims of this research is to find the difference of level assertiveness based on leadership style to the middle manager. Leadership style refers to style of leadership that carried by leader to influenced their worker (Wursanto, 2003). Assertiveness is traits that showed honestly to express and open for their needs, feelings, and thoughts without hurting anyone (Rathus & Nevid, 1980). The participant for this research on 21st-25th May 2007 consisted from 100 middle manager company. Researcher used questionnaire which based on Likert scale and processed with SPSS software ver 12.0. Using One Way Anova, the result is F = 2.689 and ρ = .000 < .05. This result showed that there’s a difference of level assertiveness based on leadership style. So, there was a difference of level assertiveness based on leadership style..
