Abstract
The objective of this research is to get empirical evidence of job satisfaction in x hospital with George Homans' job satisfaction questionnaires adaptation. Job satisfaction is general act of one person among his or her job. This data was collected from 270 nurses of x hospital in Jakarta. The result of this data analyses found that the mean score of job satisfaction is 2,7892 (SD=0.26445) with I until 4 scale. This result showed that the nurses of x hospital have great job satisfaction. The result of this differency study showed that there is differences of nurse job satisfaction within age F(102,1512)=1.379, p<0.01 especially in sub dimension: upward communication, distributive justice, career growth, job security. There is differences of nurse job satisfaction within F(85,1260)=1.660, p<0.01 especially in sub dimension: distributive justice, career growth, supervisory support, .vork group cohesion, resource inadequacy.
