Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between perception of permissive parenting styles with intention of aggresion among girls teenager. Perception is brain process to interpreting sensory information that intended to understand things that happen in the environment. Permissive parenting styles is one type of parenting styles which parents place few limits on children. Intention of aggression is one’s tendency to show aggression. Aggression is behavior that is intended to hurt individual or object that can be manifested in physical or verbal forms. Aggression can caused by many factors and one of them is situational factors including parenting styles in child rearing. Permissive is one of parenting styles that was assumed to have biggest impact in aggressiveness among teenager. There are 101 subject that have perception of permissive parenting styles between 16-18 ages. The data were collected by using questionaires that based on Likert Scale. Data which have been obtained was processed by using Spearman Brown correlation. From the study, it’s found out r(101) = .022, p (.828) > 0.05 showed that there is no relationship between perception of permissive parenting styles with intention of aggression among girls teenager.
