Abstract
"Nowadays, many teenagers who have had pre-marital sex in the city, as much as in the village. This is caused by many factors, among of which is the religious factor. In Indonesia, religion is considered as the measurement of behavior, due to the community's high appreciation of religious values. In this research, the researches uses a religious value orientation. The religius value orientation is used to describe the point-of-view of an individual about the position of religion in his/her life, which determined the relational pattern the individual with his/her religion, which is divided into extrinsic and intrinsic orientation. Individual who has extrinsic value to conduct his/her religion due to expect appreciation from others and individual who has intrinsic value to perform religion due to awareness raising inside of his/herself. While the attitude towards pre-marital sex includes the Observation from cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. According to both orientations, it will see whether or not there is a relationship between the religious value orientation with the teenagers' attitude towards pre-marital sex. This research uses the quantitative method using the Pearson Product Moment Cone/ation statistical technique. The subject of this research are 60 people from 2 Churches in West Jakarta area, the GKl Pakis and GKl Sutopo. However in this research there is no significant relationship between religious value orientation with the teenagers' attitude towards pre-marital relationship. The result gained from this research is different with theoretical research. This difference is probably due to the measurement used by the researcher, which is only the religious value orientation, without considering other factors. Therefore, it is expected that the upcoming research will consider other necessary factors and use the qualitative method in order to get more comprehensive results. "
