Abstract

Job satisfaction is the most important thing which is wanted to be achieved by the workers. Every worker feels satisfaction of job differently, it is depend on what they need. If all of elements which workers want to achieved has been fulfilled in working, the job satisfaction will be achieved then. There are many factors could influence job satisfaction, but this research only focused on role conflict and self efficacy. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between role conflict and self efficacy with job satisfaction. Role conflict is a contradiction which happen to someone in fulfilling several roles at the same time. Self efficacy is afaith of someone on his/her ability to overcome every problem he/she face. The amount of respondents in this research are 53 policewomen, they are on duty at the Mabes Polri Operational Departement in Jakarta. The gauge of this research is questionnaire which analyzed with help of computer program called SPSS for windows release 10.0. It was found that the correlation between role conflict with x ' job satisfaction on Policewomen is not significant. Then, it was found that there is positive correlation between self efhcacy with job satisfaction on Policewomen. The number of correlation (r) is 0,426 with the value of probability (p) is 0,001. 4 Based on the results of research above, it can conclude that there is positive correlation between self efficacy with job satisfaction.
