Abstract
Death usually happens in life. Nevertheless, it can be so frightening for some people. Of all factors that affect fear of death, it seems religiousness is the factor most capable giving people a safety and peaceful feeling against fear of death. The objective of this research is to find out whether there is or there isn”t any correlation between fear of death and religion attitude on middle adult people.The subjects in this research are 97 Catholic middle adult people in West Jakarta. To gather the data the questioner is used. The result of this research shows that there is a negative correlation between fear of death and religion attitude on middle adult people (rxy = -O.497, p<0.05). lt means the lower fear of death in a person is, the higher his religion attitude.
