Abstract
Women at middle age, are susceptible to the social rejection. Some women, who have inadequate self-esteem, often portray themselves worse than other people see, and they also tend to have unrealistic ideal image. Women who are afraid to be rejected socially carry out beauty treatment and appearance changes. One of the way is by having the aesthetic surgery which gives instant result and wideknown application nowadays. The objective of this research is to give the psychological dynamic picture of the subject, who sound willing to_undergo the surgery which they actually fear for the sake of self-confidence, social appraisal, even the pride or their partners. This research is done using qualitative method with data gathering through in-dept interviews. The five research subjects are all the married women, own children, and at the age within 30-55 years. Out of four, have undergone the aesthetic surgery more than once. From this research, it was discovered that after undergoing aesthetic surgery, feel the psychological dramatic changes of their life. They even plan to take another aesthetic surgery in a near future.
