Abstract
In human life, we find out that mathematics is taking a very important role. However, recently mathematics seemed like the most feared subject for most of the students. lt can contributes a bad impact for the students' achievement. There are some factors can influence the achievement, the attitude is one of the most critical factor that take an important role. The purpose of this research is to find out if there is a relation between the students' attitude to mathematics and the students' achievement. The subject of this research are 78 students from Providentia Elementary School, West Jakarta. This research was using questionaire for data collection. The result from the research shows there wasga positive relation between the students' attitude to mathematics and the students' achievement on Providentia Elementary School (r = 0,793). The conclusion reached was that more positive the students' attitude to mathematics resultab higher students' achievement.
