Abstract
Retirement has brought consequences to the individual involved, changes in routines of individual life will occurred in retirement. The raise of physical disorder, anxiety toward new events, depression and complaints projected to the surrounding environment are the symptoms of post power syndrome experienced by individual in pre-retirement. The consequences may be resulted from the individual who felt their losing of power given by the workplace in which heemployed and lack of self adjustment with the new condition. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between post power syndrome with self adjustment toward retirement. Data resulted from 60 retirees of Bank Indonesia - Jakarta, from grade I_V to grade VIII. The data collection is using questioner and analyzed by Pearson Product Moment Measurement and also assistance by SPSS 11.00 version program. The results of this research shown a positive/negative relationship between post power syndrome with self adjustment in the retirement (r,.y (58) 0,467, p = 0,000).
