Abstract

Life after death is a mysterious. There are so many attitudes are shown regarding life atter death, some are showing agreement and some are not. Attitude toward life after death on young aduithood and late adulthood can be infiuenced by factors like perception about life after death, experiences, life style on each developmental stage, environmental influence, follower's influence (such as friend, parent, teacher). Those actors can influence someone's attitude as a cognition, affection and conation. The aim of this research ie to know the difference of attitude between young adulthood and late adulthood in giving perspective on life after death. The data was gain from 122 people. consist of 61 young adulthood ages between 20-45 years old and 61 late adulthood ages 65 years old and up, which lives in Jakarta. The data was collected by using questionnaire. The data which gained from questionnaire was analysed by using t-test in SPSS program 11.00 version. The result of this research shown that the average of young adulthood's attitude is 388.8361 (S: 41 .3474) and the average of late adulthood's attitude is 4085230 (s= 302435). The average of those two groups are different as significant ‘(120)= -3.017, with probabillity 0.003 on significance level 0.05. it means there are difference of attitude between young adulthood and late adulthood in giving perspective life after death.
