Abstract
This research tries to find out the relationship between perception to the family support, self efficacy and coping stress on sailor. Coping stress (problem focused coping and emotion focused coping) is a process by which people try to manage stressful situation. Data were collected by using questionnaires and to be analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. Result indicated that. there is a positive significant correlation between perception to the family support and coping stress (emotion focused coping) (r = 0,658, p < 0,05), and there is a positive significant correlation between self efficacy and coping stress (emotion focused coping) (r = 0,486, p < 0,05).
