Abstract
This research tries to answer the problem: How was the emotional dynamic of mother who has child with leukemia? This research used the theory Stage of Dying, from Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. This research uses the methods of depth-interview and observation, held for about month, as the first step. From September 21st until November 1st, 2007. In complete the information, researcher did the second interwiew by telephone with all respondents on 1st November, 2007. They are three respondents in this research, consist of a mother who has child with leukemia. The result indicated that all respondents showed the dynamic emotional starting with denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. But that not every respondent went through the five stages in the stages of dying and the time needed by one person to move from one stage to the other stage, can be different from the other. One of them did not go through anger state and depression stage. The second respondent and the third respondent went through the five stages in the stages of dying from Kubler-Ross.
