Abstract
Nurse is an important part of a hospital which had to have altruistic behavior for the patient’s well being. Altruistic behavior is expected appear in nurse’s self by no negative indicator in their life. Psychological well-being is predicted has a correlation with altruistic behavior. Psychological well-being is someone’s psychological condition by no negative indicator (anxious, stress or depression) but their can find their self’s potential. The altruistic behavior is helping behavior that done voluntary for other’s well-being by not expecting the give back from others. This research did in 49 nurses that works in “X” Hospital. This study is using correlation design of non experiment quantitative method and analyzing with Spearman correlation. The results is r (49)= 0,233 and p > 0,05. The conclusion is there is no correlation between psychological well-being and altruistic behavior in nurse.
