Abstract
Total smoker more increased every year in developing countries such as Indonesia. Smoking behavior not only done by man, but many woman have been smoking already. This research purpose to knowing different of smoking intention of young adulthood women based on lifestyles. Type of lifestyles that used in this research is lifestyles type from VALS 2, consist of from eight types namely : (a) actualizers; (b) fulfilleds; (c) achievers; (d) experiencers; (e) believers; (f) strivers; (g) makers; and (h) strugglers. The instrument in this research is a questionnaire that was given to subject of young adulthood women (20-40 years old). Subjects in this research are 223 peoples. Research results is appropriate with research hypothesis, F = 3,09, sig/p = 0.004, p < 0.05 thus there is different in smoking intention of women based on lifestyles. Those different especially seen in actualizers type and strivers type.
