Abstract
The aim of this research is to know about the description of social support received by adolesence with hearing impairment and self concept which owned by adolesence with hearing impairment. Social support perception is generalized evaluation when a person develop their role in many aspect of life, they sure that they were beloved, respected and there is significant others when they needed. Self concept is the self as seen, perceived, and experienced by someone. Sample of this research is 12-21 years old hearing impairment adolesence and have finished or still studying in SLB-B. The result shown that from five kind of social support perception, only esteem support have high value with mean 3,8630 (SD= 0, 45689). From the same result, there is significant correlation between social support perception and self concept with r (374) = 0,402 and sig/p = 0,000, p < 0,01. The conclusion is the higher social support perception which received by adolesence with hearing impairment, self concept will be better.
