Abstract
The research’s purpose is to know the difference in Child Popularity That is Conducted from The Patterns of Attachment. The research subject includes 187 primary school students which are 12 until 14 years old that are chosen using non-probability sampling technique in a form of convenience sampling. The method that is use to gather research attachment’s data is done using questionnaire with sortment using Likert scale, while for peer status research data is gathered by using sosiometric method. The data is analyzed using Chi-Square with the assistance of SPSS software version 15.0. The theories that are use in this research are attachment theory from Ainsworth, 1978 (from Solomon & George, 1999) and peer status theory from Papalia & Olds (1979). The result of the research shows no difference in child popularity from the patterns of attachment of primary school students. For the next research we expect to make measurement instrument that is more specific.
