Abstract

The destination from this thesis are to give the situation about self efficacy at student with English subject. Self efficacy is someone faith and their ability in doing their tasks. English is the subject from school to show the ability perform English effectively either at oral or written. This thesis are using quantitative method without experiment using quetionare which fill by 83 students, then the data was count by SPSS 13 program with four dimension from self efficacy. The dimensions are reading, listening, speaking, and writing. The result from this thesis is using descriptive method the participant had a low self efficacy (mean 2,85) if we see from gender and taking English course, there is no difference between them. But if we see from age and class level, they have more low self efficacy with r= - 0,0357, ρ < 0,01
