Abstract
This study aims to describe the meaning of life of early gay adult. What are things that gay individual wants to achieve in term of pursuing their life and what are the constraints that are holding him back to pursue his life purposes. Gay is deviant behavior among which happens to male is a behavior of being attracted to other male. In mose cases, they often get negative harassments, family and societies resistance that may have negative impact on his life. While the meanings of life according to Frankl (1984) are the things that the person is considered important, valuable, and believed to be correct and can be life purpose. This study uses four subjects aged 25 to 35 years with qualitative methods. Interviews were conducted in October 2009 to December 2009. The results of this study indicate that the four subjects have the same meaning in life is to accept their sexual orientation, and want to live happily like other people. Their are manifested through hard work, career, raising their standard of living and at the same time continues to socialize with others while that would lead them to a better life.
