Abstract
Late adolescence is a period of searching self identity. The development of self concept influence the search of self identity in adolescence. The existence of self identity in adolescence can do with follow the fashion style that’s called cosplay. In cosplay there was one genre that’s called crossplay which in this genre the adolescence using the opposite gender fashion and acting is needed for doing it. This research using the main theory of self concept from Fitts which there are study about dimension and characteristic in self concept. The subject of this study is two male crossplayer and two women crossplayer. This study using qualitative method with criterion sampling. The result of this study is the crossplayers had negative self concept. That’s why support and attention from parents, friends and neighbours are very important to build positive self concept of the crossplayers.
