Abstract
" Drugs is one of the problems which remain unresolved until this day. Based on statistical data are dominated by teenage drug abuse. Individuals who are at this stage of development tend to be more susceptible to the negative influence of the environment and does not yet have a definite attitude to life. Social skills that can support them in a show of courage in being yourself is asertiveness. Theory assertiveness used in this research uses the theory from Palmer & Froehner (2002). This study aims to determine how high the level assertiveness in adolescents who be drug abuser at BNN rehabilitation centers. This is a quantitative research, using descriptive statistical techniques. This research using rehabilitation center’s residents at BNN rehabilitation center as sample, with age an range 17-23 years. Using purposive sampling technic. Data collecting was done through questionaire as the instruments which made based on the theory from Palmer & Froehner for assertiveness scale. Based on data analysis results are the mean value of 2.606 and with a standard deviation of 0.349 with the minimum value of 1.45 and maximum value of 3.29. The mean value obtained is greater than the value of the center, it can be said asertiveness participants included high. This suggests that late adolescents asertiveness of drug abuser at BNN rehabilitation center tend to be high. "
