Abstract
Female migrant workers who have experienced sexual abuse will feel negative psychological impact, which will prevent their potential. They need need an ability for overcoming from the adversity situation. Resiliency is an ability to overcome an impact from an adversity. Grotberg’s theory (1999) says that there are three factors of resiliency: I have, I am, and I can. Those three factors have to interact each others. Female migrant worker is an Indonesian female who works in foreign country. Sexual abuse is an agression imposed upon an individual to a certain sexual behaviour without the will of such person. This research is comducted to desribe the resiliency of female migrant workers who have experienced sexual abuse. Interviews are conducted from June 27th until September 12. Based to the Grotberg theory (1999), the four subjects are resilien but they have not fulfill all the criterias of resiliency’s factors.
