Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between perception of peer support with achievement motivation in adolescent. Perception of peer support is the inference of individual information that get social support from other individuals and interpreted to be a message to his inner self. Achievement motivation is the motive that encourages individuals to pace with the size advantage. This study uses quantitative methods using questioner to 106 adolescent boys and adolescent aged 15-18 years old. Analysis data using Pearson correlation and the data processed using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Research results show rs =0,327 dan p =0,001<0,01. That conclusion there are positive and significant relationship between perceptions of peers with achievement motivation in adolescent. Positif perception of peers will be higher the achievement motivation in adolescent. On the contrary the negatif perception of peer supportthen it will lower the achievement motivation in adolescent.
