Abstract
The research tried to describe description of coping stress on mother who have children with blood cancer (Leukemia). Stress conditions experienced by the mother after learning the disease suffered by her son and during the treatment process that must accompany the child lived. In addition, children are difficult to eat and take medication, also listening to a child complained of pain. Coping stress is the ability to control and resolve themselves when situations, people and events that have given the over demands. This research takes data from four subjects using the techniques of interview conducted on mothers who have children with leukemia. From these results it can be concluded that mothers who have children with blood cancer (Leukemia) used different coping stress in overcoming stress experienced. A common form of stress coping used by the four subjects is Self Control, Seeking Social Support, Accepting Responsibility, Positive Reappraisal and Planful Problem Solving.
