Abstract

This research was conducted to see the subjective well-being of Indonesian women who did intermarriage. Currently, in Indonesia intermarriage is possible. Intermarriage is talking about here has differences of culture and citizenship, for example between Indonesian women with foreign men. Indonesia including countries that have relatively low individualism index and high-context cultures. Male citizens of foreign countries here have a relatively high individualism index and low-context cultures. Conflicts can arise because of these differences, namely differences in communication, cultural differences that affect the outlook and habits of a person's life. This study uses three subjects. Based on a study of three subjects, found that the existence of cultural differences and how to communicate, give effect to married life and the conflicts that arise in all three subjects. But the ability of subjects to overcome the conflict make an intermarriage of Indonesian women who marry still have a positive SWB. In contrast subjects who are unable to solve the conflict have less positive SWB or moderate.
