Abstract
This research is conducted to get a description about conflicts arising in a married life of a woman forced to married due to premarital pregnancy. Conflict is a clash occurred when someone disagreeing the partner’s manner in fulfilling the needs and achieve his objective. Every individual has different ways in resolving conflicts that arise in their marriage. This research used theory from Gerald Miller and Mark Steinberg (cited in Beebe et al., 2005) and also Thomas and Kilmann (cited in Beebe et al., 2005; Williams et al., 2006; Olson & DeFrain, 2006) about type of conflict and type of conflict resolution. Data retrieving is done through interview from July 2011 until December 2011. Three person is used as subject in this research, late-teenage girls forced to married due to premarital pregnancy. Based on research, it is revealed that there are two subjects who experienced the type of conflict ego conflict. In general, the three subjects use varied style of conflict resolution to resolve the conflicts that occur in marriage.
