Abstract
"The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of life patterns from various aspects of life (science, belief, art, morals, law custom, and habit) among Ambonese living in Ambon and Ambonese who live in Jakarta. This study included 420 participants who reside in Ambon and Jakarta by using accidental sampling technique. Results showed that generally Ambonese who are living in Ambon and Jakarta see the value of award in the same view, but on the perception of “mutual acceptance” versus “giving each other”, there is a difference direction of measurement. Ambonese who live in Jakarta see the value of respect in its current condition as a belief of “mutual acceptance”. While Ambonese who live in Ambon see the value of respect in its current condition as a belief of “giving each other”. In addition, Ambonese who live in Jakarta and Ambon has a tendency to see the value of freedom in the same direction, but the perception of “limited action” versus “can act anything”. Ambonese who live in Ambon and Jakarta see the value of love, humility, happiness, cooperation, responsibility, honesty, tolerance, unity, simplicity, and peace on the different views. "
