Abstract
This study was conducted to determine and understand the Resiliency aspects of ex-street children. Resiliency is the ability of individual cognitive, conative and affective to be able to adapt and cope with a bad situation that comes from internal or the environment that can affect the resiliency process. This study used the theory of Resiliency and Shatte Reivich (2002), concerning the characteristic of good resiliency. The process of data collection was done in the period between March 2013 to May 2013. The subjects used in this study were four people, who had become street children. Based on the survey results revealed that there were three subjects with good characteristics of resiliency, such as emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, empathy, causal analysis, self-efficacy, and reaching out. While the one subject other ex-street children have problems in some of these characteristics.
