Abstract
This study aims to determine the existence of trust and marital happiness relationships in couples who undergo a marriage commuter. Commuter marriage is a pattern in marriage that causes married couples to live separately. The research method used is a quantitative research method with non-experimental forms. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires regarding the two variables. The research subjects were 200 people. The subjects are married and have a partner who lives outside the city. The time for conducting this study began in July 2013 until September 2013. The results showed that the results of the correlation test using Spearman Correlation, obtained that the trust variable has a significant relationship with happy or happiness marriage which has a value of r = 0.243 and p = 0.001 <0, 05 so H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted so there is a positive and significant relationship. And the results of the correlation test using Spearman Correlation, it was found that in trust variables only the dimensions of dependability do not have a relationship with the happy variable. While the results of the happy variable correlation test are only sex dimensions that do not have a relationship with trust variables.
