Abstract
"The phenomena in community show that there is a variation of family attachment on adolescent which play game online. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the addiction of game online with family attachment on adolescent. The research was conducted using quantitative method. There were 150 research subjects who participates in West Jakarta which indicated using non-probabiity sampling namely snowball sampling. Likert interval scale was used as the method to collect the data. Game online addiction variable based on Lemmens’ theory and family attachment variable based on John Bowlby’s theory. The results of the analysis show that there is a significance relation between online game addiction and family attachment on adoslencent (r=-0,29, p < 0,01). This shows us that the hypothesis is accepted, which means the higher the addiction of game online, the lower family attachment will be. On the other hand, the higher family attachment is, the lower game online addiction will be. "
