Abstract
The aim of this research is to know the relationship between music ability and reading comprehension on elementary school students. Subjects of this reasearch are 118 Abdi Siswa and Santa Ursula Elementary School students which consists of third, fourth, and fifth grade students. This research was conducted by giving questionnaire to know students grade on music and Indonesian for the last semester at school. This research uses purposive sampling technique. Spearman correlation test show correlation r(118) = .395 and p < .001 on relationship between music ability and reading comprehension. The result shows that there is a positive and very significant relationship between music ability and reading comprehension.
