Abstract
" The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between work-family conflict and marital satisfaction in young adulthood women who work full time and have children under five years old. Work-family conflict is a interrole conflict between work and family role in which each demand fulfillment at the same time. Pressure in managing the conflicting demand between work and family lives, less of leisure time with husband and unequal roles between husband and wife can increase the work-family conflict and lower the marital satisfaction of working women. Unsatisfied marriage can be affected to the mental health of the working woman herself, her partner and also to the parenting pattern in the family. This quantitative research uses Pearson Correlation Test and found that r = -0.681 and p= 0.000. The result indicates that there is a strong negative relationship between work-family conflict and marital satisfaction. "
