Abstract
Divorce haves unpleasant impact to all parties, especially children. These impacts are long-term to adulthood children, one of them is relationship confidence. Relationship confidence is the belief that one’s a relationship will be successful into the future. This research was conducted in Serang, Banten province aimed at comparing the relationship confidence of young adults from divorced families and intact families. This study uses a measuring instrument that has been standardized and adapted to Indonesian language and given to respondents aged 20-30 years with 70 people from divorced families and 91 people came from intact families. SPSS with the Mann-Whitney U test showed that U = 586.50, p = 0009, p <0.05, meaning there is a difference in relationship confidence in young adults from divorced families and intact families.
