Abstract
The objective of this research is to identify the relation in domestic violence and the controlling behaviour, conflict tactics scale-self (CTS-Self) and the controlling behaviour (CB), conflict tactics scale-partner (CTS-Partner) and the controlling behaviour (CB), and the relation between conflict tactics scale-self (CTS-Self) and conflict tactics scale-partner (CTS-Partner). This research encloses 154 married respondents by sampling convenience technique. According to Spearman correlation, there is a significant result which shows that there is a relation in domestic violence and the controlling behaviour. The respondents who have low controlling behaviour have the tendency to do violence in the form of situational couple violence. On the other hand, the respondents who have high controlling behaviour have the tendency to do violence in the form of intimate terrorism.
