Abstract

Adolescence is marked by physical growth, personality development, the need to achieve maturity, self-reliance, as well as the adaptation between the role and function of the culture in which it resides. Because at a time of self in development to achieve pleasure and satisfaction for adolescents, the things that are symbolic usually indicates that socioeconomic status is higher than the other friends in the group. So there is a sense of superiority that trigger aggression themselves. Students involved teens doing aggressive behavior such as bullying are also affected by conformity. Conformity appear when individuals mimic the attitudes or behavior of others because of the pressure on the real and imaginary them. The research objective here is to look at the role of socioeconomic status and conformity to bullying in middle school adolescent. The method used is quantitative by using regression analysis on SPSS. The results are role of socioeconomic status and conformity to bullying in middle school adolescent with a percentage of 39.1 percent with the role of contributions, mainly from socio-economic status by 39 percent and the smallest residual obtained from conformity. According to his class, high socioeconomic status (rich) is the highest level of bullying, meaning here that bullies are students who come from high socioeconomic status (rich). The samples used were 300 respondents taken from the high school students X and vocational students Y and measuring instruments used were socioeconomic status, conformity and bullying.
