Abstract

One of the causes of the late graduation phenomenon for final year students is academic procrastination. Academic procrastination is the tendency of individuals to delay the assignment given. The cause of individuals doing academic procrastination is the evaluation of anxiety, which can be either state anxiety or relatively stable (trait anxiety) and lack of self-regulated learning abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning, and anxiety with academic procrastination at final level students. This correlational study uses a stratified random sampling method with a sample of 260 people. Data analysis using Pearson Correlation, the relationship of self-regulated learning and academic procrastination showed r (258) = -0,554; p <0.01. The relationship of academic procrastination and temporary anxiety shows r (258) = 0.225, p <0.01. The relationship between academic procrastination and anxiety that is relatively stable shows r (258) = 0.397; p <0.01. The research hypothesis is proven.
